Overview :
Architectural and Engineering office, located in Denver and Evergreen, seeks an applicant to maintain human resource and general office responsibilities. This position would be in charge of Human Resources as well as general office administration responsibilities to include benefits administration, customer relations and collections, HR administration, documentation of policies and procedures, vendor requests, client databases, some marketing projects, and general office maintenance of supplies, luncheon events, etc. This applicant will work with the Accounting Department/General Office Director.

Primary Responsibilities:
Generates new hire process, creates, maintains, and updates the employee and benefit files for all new and current employees in a secure format
Maintaining and updating Employee Manual as necessary
Maintains employees reports such as vacation and sick time hours
Maintains and updates bulletins, notices, etc as required by law in addition to an interoffice activities occurring at the offices
Maintains monthly birthday and anniversary lists
Background checks as necessary

Reports created for Principals and Directors as needed for employee reviews, disciplines, etc
Conducts phone interviews, reference checks and background checks as requested
Assists office associates as needed with special projects
Orders office supplies, printer ink cartridges, maintains overall office organization
Maintains list of break room items needed for kitchens, and other office supplies
Acts as an active member of the activities committee and assists in organizing corporate events
Sends out vendor insurance certificate and w9 requests
Requests and maintains vendor insurance certificates
Sends Thank you letters to clients upon receipt of payment (with help from Accounting)
Collections phone calls when necessary based off reports from Accounting
Other duties and projects assigned as needed
Maintains and updates databases for office/employee licenses, clients, etc
Some Marketing assistance as needed
Project Submittals
Research Government agencies for design services
This position will continue to grow in responsibilities as the firm keeps growing in size and projects

Requirements:
Human Resources Background mandatory with 1 to 3 years experience
Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail mandatory
Ability to take initiative and self-manage time and responsibilities
Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality work
Professional appearance, outgoing nature
Ability to compose professional business written communications required

Know Mac computers as well as PC
Design programs such as adobe, publisher, pages, etc
Salary range $28K-$32K depending on experience
