Bill Foster – Architect

Bill is an Architect and Project Manager at EV Studio. He believes in bringing out the best in the project team from programming, to design to construction through building consensus. He believes in learning from the client, engineers and contractors in the effort to improve the project while also improving his ability to represent the best interests of the client. Building a community of mutual respect and strong relationships is essential to the problem solving style that Bill brings to every project.

Raised by an engineer and a physical therapist, Bill was naturally drawn to architecture with its blend of technical and social considerations. He enjoys learning the latest computer programs that allow him to express the clients designs effectively and efficiently. At the same time architecture has given Bill many chances to work with clients of diverse backgrounds around the world on many different project types.

Bill has been active in his community Homeowners Association serving as Vice President for seven years. During this time his management and architectural knowledge guided the maintenance and improvement for the community while his a open minded approach to leadership allowed each homeowner to add their important part to the community.

Bill’s other passion is soccer. Having played for over 30 years he has been a player, manager of multiple teams and league President of the Foothills soccer league. Working in leadership positions with volunteers has given Bill important insights into community dynamics and the importance of consensus building.

Bill has lived in Denver for 10 years with his wife and daughter and enjoys woodworking, German cars and landscaping at home on the weekends. Further from home snowboarding, downhill biking and climbing the occasional fourteener keep him busy.
