Gene Dane – Principal, Architect

Gene is an architect, a Principal of EVstudio, and manages our Texas office.  Gene is a Central Texas native and is responsible for business development for EV Studio in Texas and the Southwest markets.

Gene has over 23 years experience in the A/E/C industry including several years with Design / Build firms.  Mr. Dane has a common sense approach to problem solving combined with a comprehensive understanding of construction systems and techniques, procurement methods, and construction financing.  He is a professional manager of multi-discipline groups of architects, engineers, and specialty consultants on large, complex project types including projects with the US Army Corps of Engineers.  He is leader in all facets of the design and construction process and comfortable in typically stressful and challenging situations.

Gene is dedicated to public service projects and has served in a leadership capacity on municipal advisory boards, TIRZ board of directors, local green building programs, and community revitalization initiatives.  Gene lives in Kempner, Texas with his wife and his two children.
