Lisa A. Barter – Director of Interiors and Lighting

“I am an Interior Architect who champions the integration of architecture, interiors and lighting.  I’m happiest when able to wield all my skills to create a space that gets people excited to be there.”

Lisa Barter studied interior design and architecture in Texas, and brings extensive experience in interior design, architecture and lighting design to each project. Hailing from a family of doctors and engineers, she enjoys marrying art and science by giving equal emphasis to the creative and technical aspects of design.

Lisa is passionate about the impact of artificial and natural light on human health and behavior, a topic on which she has presented in various settings.

Lisa’s diverse experience as a consultant has afforded her the opportunity to work on project types including civic, educational, hospitality, residential, and corporate.  Her architecture and interior design licensing renders her fluent in the entire design process, and she particularly enjoys working with the other designers at EVstudio to integrate color, lighting and architecture.
