Sean O’Hara – Principal, Founder, Architect

Sean is an architect and one of the founders of EVstudio. He founded his own firm so that he could rethink the traditional firm and focus on client centric architecture. A tenacious problem solver, Sean isn’t satisfied until he has the right solution. He brings a “can do” attitude, a seriousness about quality and a relaxed demeanor to each project.

Sean has significant experience with all phases of design and construction. His work has included affordable and market-rate multi-family projects, offices, goverment projects, educational projects, mixed-use developments, single family homes, master planning and performance spaces.

Sean earned two degrees in architecture and one in education, specifically instructional technology and design. Sean is a licensed Architect in the State of Colorado and an NCARB Certificate holder. He is also a LEED Accredited Professional. Sean has served as the Vice President of the Congress for the New Urbanism Colorado, the chair of Stapleton CAB Zoning & Planning, the chair of AIA Denver Design Awards and is actively involved in volunteer work. He lives in Denver with his wife of twelve years, three children and two dogs.
