EVstudio partnered with TenDeg and Sprink Construction to complete a 15,000-square-foot mezzanine addition in Louisville, doubling the office space to nearly 30,000 square feet.
Design & Interiors
Over 18 months, EVstudio worked closely with the client to bring a bold, modern vision to life. A large central atrium and a custom stand-up staircase are the centerpiece of the design. Clean lines, slat walls, suspended ceilings, and extensive glass give the space a sleek, contemporary feel. Every finish was selected to create a cohesive and inviting environment.
Engineering Solutions
The mezzanine addition presented structural challenges. EVstudio’s engineering team found smart solutions—isolating the new framing from the existing structure while reusing parts of the original foundation where possible. Rooftop units were carefully placed to minimize structural reinforcement while maintaining performance.
A standout feature is the open atrium, which flows directly into the office area without fire separation—an innovative solution that received approval.
