PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Elena Hepworth has been a member of the LGA team since 2021 and is part of LGA Studio at EVstudio, bringing a unique international and multidisciplinary background to the studio’s design work. She holds a bachelor’s degree in structural engineering and began her career working as a structural engineer in Russia, where she gained valuable experience in technical analysis, coordination, and building systems.
After relocating to the United States, Elena chose to transition her career into architectural design—combining her engineering foundation with a growing passion for architecture and the built environment. She completed the Architectural Engineer Technician program at Pikes Peak State College in 2021 and continues to apply both her technical knowledge and design skills to support project teams and client goals.
Elena’s background in structural engineering informs her thoughtful approach to architectural documentation and coordination. Her ability to understand projects from both an engineering and design perspective strengthens collaboration across disciplines and contributes to efficient, well-resolved project outcomes.
PERSONAL
Outside of work, Elena enjoys spending time with her small family and developing her photography skills. Her interest in photography reflects an appreciation for composition, detail, and storytelling—qualities that also influence her approach to architectural design.
