PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND

Jorge Quinones is an Architectural Designer with experience in residential and commercial architecture. Originally from both Chihuahua, Mexico, and Fort Collins, Colorado, Jorge earned a Bachelor of Environmental Design with an emphasis in Architecture and a minor in Art History from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2022.

Following graduation, Jorge relocated to New York City, where he joined Selldorf Architects. During his three years there, he contributed to a variety of architectural projects while gaining experience in design development, documentation, and multidisciplinary project coordination. His academic background in architecture and art history gives him a thoughtful design approach that balances technical problem-solving with an appreciation for aesthetics and the built environment.

Jorge is currently pursuing architectural licensure and is actively studying for the Architect Registration Examination (ARE).

PERSONAL

Outside of architecture, Jorge has a lifelong passion for art and creativity. His interest in art history began at an early age and eventually led him to pursue a minor in the subject while in college. He particularly enjoys oil painting and portraiture and often draws inspiration from both classical and contemporary artists.

Jorge also enjoys cooking, especially Indian cuisine, which he and his girlfriend enjoy preparing together. When he’s not designing or painting, he enjoys exploring new creative outlets and finding inspiration through travel, culture, and the arts.
