PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Ross brings eight years of military experience to the team, having served across three states and deployed to the Middle East twice. As Director of Engineering for the United States Air Force, he led two diverse and highly technical teams — 45 multi-craft Combat Engineers — executing the planning, design, construction, inspection, and compliance of the military troop labor construction portfolio. In this role, he ensured compliance with federal and state regulations through the Commander’s Inspection Program and Occupational Safety Program.
Earlier in his career, Ross contributed to the successful implementation of pavement and facility projects as a Project Engineer, managing budgets and leading execution teams. He concluded his service with the U.S. Air Force’s RED HORSE heavy construction unit. Ross brings a mission-driven mindset, technical acumen, and a commitment to collaboration to complex challenges, and is dedicated to aligning engineering solutions with organizational goals while fostering teamwork and operational excellence. He joins EVstudio as an Electrical Design Intern through the DoD SkillBridge program.
PERSONAL:
Outside of work, Ross is passionate about music and writing — he’s completed a stage play, with more in the works — and spends his free time sharpening his golf game. A fun fact: as a kid, he wanted to be a garbage man, convinced that riding on the back of the truck was the coolest job around.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering — United States Air Force Academy
