PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND:
Tom Hoover is a licensed architect with experience working alongside leading architecture firms both in Colorado and nationally. His background includes a wide range of project types, including hospitality, residential, commercial, mixed-use, higher education, and municipal design.
Tom takes a design-centered approach to his work, with a strong focus on both the evolution of design and the collaboration required to deliver successful projects. He is passionate about creating thoughtful, high-quality environments while also fostering strong team dynamics throughout the design process.
He is actively involved in sustainable design initiatives and participates in Colorado’s train-the-trainer program, supporting energy-conscious design strategies and advancing sustainability within the industry.
As Director of Architecture in EVstudio’s Colorado Springs office, Tom is focused on strengthening design leadership and collaborating across disciplines to deliver integrated, high-performing projects.
PERSONAL:
Outside of work, Tom enjoys an active lifestyle and spending time outdoors. He is an avid biker, road cyclist, and skier, and enjoys traveling to new places to experience different cultures and design perspectives.
He also has a strong interest in food and enjoys exploring new cuisines, flavors, and dining experiences.
