Welcoming Eric Remelius to EVstudio’s Production Housing Studio
EVstudio is excited to welcome Eric Remelius as Associate Director of the Production Housing Studio. With a strong background in residential construction, engineering support, and architectural design, Eric brings a practical and well-rounded perspective that strengthens the studio’s ability to deliver high-quality production housing solutions.
Eric’s professional journey reflects a deep understanding of how homes are designed, engineered, and built. He has worked for three Colorado homebuilders, gaining direct insight into production housing workflows and field execution. His eight years with a geotechnical engineering firm further expanded his expertise in site conditions, soils, and foundational considerations—critical elements in residential development. He also spent four years in a custom home design office, sharpening his architectural knowledge and client collaboration skills.
This blend of builder, engineering, and design experience positions Eric to support production housing projects from concept through construction with clarity and efficiency.
A Multidisciplinary Approach to Housing
Eric holds three Associate of Science degrees—two in Architecture and one in Engineering—as well as a Bachelor of Science in Cybersecurity. His academic and professional background reflects a strong analytical mindset paired with practical application. Within the Production Housing Studio, this perspective supports thoughtful coordination, problem-solving, and forward-thinking processes.
Rooted in Family and Passion
Originally from eastern Nebraska, Eric moved to Colorado in 1999 and has built both his career and family life here. He has been married to his wife, Tania, for 21 years and is a proud father to two sons, Calvin and Conrad.
Outside of work, Eric is a dedicated baseball enthusiast (and will confidently tell you it’s the greatest sport ever played). He also enjoys travel, with Crater Lake National Park standing out as one of his favorite destinations. A fan of epic fantasy, his favorite fictional hero is Richard Rahl from the Sword of Truth series.
