Kicking Off the Season in Boise
EVstudio was thrilled to host the third annual Boise Office Happy Hour. This festive EVent coincided with the Boise office’s annual Holiday Office Party, making it even more special. Owners Dean Dalvit and Sean O’Hara, along with several principals, flew in from our Denver office to celebrate with the Boise team. Their presence brought energy and festivity to our joyful gathering, setting the tone for the holiday season.
Planning the Celebration
As Support Services, I had the joy of organizing this shindig. Planning began weeks ago, with shopping lists and decoration ideas carefully prepared. Right after Thanksgiving, I transformed the office with twinkle lights, mini-Christmas trees, and cheerful holiday décor. I even sprinkled chocolates and tiny almond joy bars throughout the space, adding sweet surprises for guests.
Building Tradition and Connection
This Happy Hour has become a cherished tradition. Hosting it at the beginning of December ensures calendars are not yet overloaded, and snow has only just begun to fall. It is the perfect time to pause, celebrate, and appreciate the people who make our work meaningful.
We extended invitations to our clients—past, present, and prospective—as well as to consultants, contractors, and vendors to attend our special event. As I surveyed the room (see what I did there) I appreciated the mix of people that created the eclectic crowd. From flannels and denim to sweaters and slacks, the attire reflected a relaxed and comfortable vibe. The event offered a perfect opportunity to reconnect, strengthen relationships, and build new ones.
Nibbling, Sipping and Holiday Cheer
For nearly three hours, everyone mingled, nibbled, and sipped. We set up a small bar with beer, wine, and soft drinks. Charcuterie boards, fresh vegetables with dip, fruit, nuts, and sweets filled the tables. The kettle chips and spinach dip paired perfectly with cold beer, proving once again to be a crowd favorite.
Spreading JOY in the Office
JOY is one of EVstudio’s core values, and it was everywhere during the evening. Decorations sparkled, conversations flowed, and laughter echoed through the office. The Boise team, joined by our Denver colleagues, shared stories and celebrated accomplishments. This gathering reminded us of the importance of community and connection during the holidays.
Looking Ahead 
Our EVstudio Boise Office Happy Hours are more than a party. They are a celebration of people, values, and community. With decorations, food, drinks, and laughter, we love kicking off the holiday season in style. Each year as this tradition continues to grow, it reminds us that JOY is best when shared.
