EVStudio is excited to welcome Dan Hefty, he started today as an Electrical Engineer (EIT) in our Denver office!
Daniel Hefty is an Electrical Engineer with over six years of experience in the MEP consulting industry, supporting projects across both the contractor and utility sides of design and construction. His project portfolio includes military and federal facilities, multifamily developments, and a wide range of commercial building types. Dan specializes in collaborating on complex, multidisciplinary projects where he consistently balances technical excellence with client expectations, constructability, and budget performance. His electrical design expertise includes power distribution and one-line diagrams, generator and standby power systems, service load calculations, lighting and lighting control systems, short-circuit and coordination studies, and comprehensive equipment connections.
Dan is an Electrical EIT actively working toward his PE license. He’s organized, goal-oriented, and passionate about educating others! He loves meeting new people and brings a friendly, approachable energy to every environment he’s part of.
Outside of work, Dan is passionate about mental health and physical exercise. He’s competed in powerlifting, Olympic lifting, and rock climbing competitions, and he’s always looking for new challenges. Dan also loves to travel — his recent adventures took him to Japan and Korea, with Costa Rica close behind as another top destination. When he’s not training or exploring new cultures, you can catch him enjoying his guilty-pleasure favorites: the classic Toho-era Godzilla films.
Welcome to the team, Dan! We’re excited to have you at EVstudio.
