Construction continues to progress at Crown Pointe Primary, an expansion project for Crown Pointe Academy in Westminster. The new facility will serve Pre-K through second-grade students and support the growing school community. Designed by EVstudio and constructed by Roche Constructors, the 26,000-square-foot building represents a significant investment in early childhood education.
The project continues moving steadily toward its planned 2026 opening. As a result, the construction team has reached several visible milestones both inside and outside the building.
Project Overview
The Crown Pointe Primary facility is designed specifically for younger learners. The building will include dedicated classrooms, flexible learning areas, and shared spaces that encourage collaboration and creativity. In total, the facility will accommodate approximately 275 students and staff members.
The project also strengthens the existing campus by creating a dedicated environment for early education. Consequently, the current school building can expand programs for older grades.
The design process involved close collaboration between school leadership and the design team. Together, they developed a learning environment tailored to the scale and curiosity of young students.

Exterior Construction Progress
Recent progress on site shows the building rapidly approaching completion of its exterior envelope.
First, crews completed the exterior stucco, giving the building its finished texture and color base. Next, teams began metal panel installation, which adds architectural detail and durability to the façade.
At the same time, workers are completing the final paint on lap siding, bringing the exterior design closer to its finished appearance.
Meanwhile, site work continues around the building. Crews are installing exterior concrete flatwork, including sidewalks and site circulation areas. In addition, right-of-way improvements are underway to enhance access and safety around the campus.
Another important milestone has already been achieved. All storefront windows are now installed, allowing natural light to fill the classrooms and common areas.
Interior Work Takes Shape
While exterior work advances, interior construction continues at an impressive pace.
Crews are currently installing cabinetry throughout classrooms and support spaces. These elements will provide storage, organization, and functional learning environments for teachers and students.
At the same time, painters are applying the first coat of interior paint, bringing color and identity to hallways and classrooms. These finishes help reinforce wayfinding and create welcoming spaces for young learners.
Additionally, tile installation is underway in key interior areas. Durable tile finishes will support long-term performance in high-traffic spaces such as restrooms and common areas.
Together, these interior milestones mark a significant step toward completing the building’s functional spaces.
Looking Ahead
The Crown Pointe Primary project continues to make strong progress as construction moves into its finishing stages. Exterior finishes, interior millwork, and flooring installations are steadily transforming the structure into a fully realized learning environment.
Once complete, the new facility will expand opportunities for families in the Westminster community while supporting the continued growth of Crown Pointe Academy.
