Despite the big April storm which blanketed the city with several inches of heavy wet snow, the AIA Box City Event in Denver at the Dora Moore Elementary school was a huge success. I had the pleasure of having my two children enter buildings in the event, and a good time was had by all.
It was particularly clever of them to require the children to pull a permit for their project and follow some of the same processes that we grown up architects do. We will definitely return next year as the kids are still talking about it!
