Another LEED Silver Office Building

We starting the design process on a new Company Headquarters building a nearly three years ago. The drawings were permitted and construction began in early 2011. We have now received word that all of our hard work paid off in the Silver Certification of this new 33,000 square foot building under LEED New Construction v2.2

The LEED Certification process takes teamwork, patience, collaboration, attention to detail, perseverance and a ‘can do’ attitude among other things. It’s ultimately worth it to know that we are making a positive impact on our built environment and pushing for buildings to be healthier and more environmentally neutral.

Some notable credits for this building include Innovation in Design points for:

  • SSc7.1 – Heat Island Effect
  • EQc8.1 – Daylight and Views
  • WEc3 – Water Use Reduction
  • SSc5.2 – Site Development, Maximize Open Space
