Building Futures: EVstudio’s Proud Partnership with Broomfield High School’s Construction Program
Empowering Students Through Hands-On Learning
EVstudio had the honor of collaborating with Broomfield High School on their Construction Program. An initiative that truly embodies the spirit of community enrichment and educational diversification. This remarkable program offers students a hands-on, immersive learning experience. Throughout the academic year, these dedicated students work side-by-side with experienced instructors and construction professionals to build an Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU). This ADU will ultimately provide a much-needed home for a member of the Broomfield community.
Education Meets Community Impact
At its core, this program is about empowerment – equipping students with tangible, practical skills and providing them with a deep understanding of the intricacies of the construction process. Simultaneously, it directly addresses the pressing need for housing within the Broomfield community. EVstudio proudly contributed with architectural and engineering expertise to this wonderful project.

One of EVstudio’s fundamental EValues is responsibility, a principle that extends far beyond the confines of our office walls. For us, true responsibility flourishes when it actively contributes to the well-being of our community. Supporting the development of future designers and builders is a commitment we hold dear, and this ADU project stands as a powerful testament to this dedication. In addition, it’s amazing to witness how some students are now setting their sights on studying construction management, while others are eager to pursue careers as skilled trades professionals.

This ADU transcends the typical high school course; it stands as a powerful, physical embodiment of partnership and collaboration. It will not only become a home for a community member but will also serve as a lasting reminder for the students of their dedication, hard work, and the profound impact of teamwork.
