Crown Pointe Academy to Break Ground on New Pre-K–2nd Grade Facility in Westminster
Crown Pointe Academy, a tuition-free public charter school, will soon break ground on a new Pre-K–2nd grade facility. The groundbreaking ceremony takes place Tuesday, May 6 at 4:30 p.m., and all community members are invited to attend.
For 27 years, the Academy has proudly served the Southwest Westminster area. Now, it’s taking an exciting step forward.
The new 26,000-square-foot building will rise directly across the street from the current campus at 2900 W. 86th Ave. This expansion marks the school’s third major growth project. It will add space for 275 more students and introduce 14 new classrooms.
In addition, the project will create 30 new full-time jobs—strengthening the school’s impact as a high-performing, community-centered choice for Westminster families.
Meet the Team Behind the Project
Designed by Jeffrey Scott and EVstudio, and built by Roche Constructors, the $17 million facility will stand beside the upcoming Uplands Colorado housing development. That neighborhood will eventually bring 2,200 new homes to the area. Together, these projects signal long-term investment in Westminster’s future—both in education and housing.
