EVstudio Attended the National Off-Site Summit and Expo – 2025
Last week, our EVolution Studio attended the National Off-Site Construction Summit and Expo in Denver, Colorado. This significant event brought together a large community of professionals and companies that support the Off-Site Industry. It provided an excellent opportunity to connect with many of our industry partners.
During the summit, we were able to visit with many of our manufacturing partners including Guerdon, Nashua, Rise Modular, Irontown Modular, Vederra, Fading West, Northstar System Built and US-Offsite, among many others. The show floor featured a diverse range of great booths and insightful presentations from developers, to manufacturers to contractors and specialty products.
Launching rEVersible Design(TM)
Our founding Principals, Dean Dalvit, had one of the first presentations of the event. He introduced EVstudio’s new concept of rEVersible Design(TM) to a group of developers, contractors and created quite a buzz in the room. This innovative idea is documented in greater detail in our other articles, but in short changes business assets on a 27.5 or 39-year depreciation schedule to a personal asset on a 5-year depreciation schedule. This is possible due to our proprietary design and detailing system enabling entire building modules to be disassembled with minimal damage to the structure. Ultimately, this new approach can free up significant capital in addition to a host of other value-added benefits. The presentation was incredibly well-received and sparked some interesting conversations for the team during the expo.
Our Client Launched Pre-Formed Foundations
Our team had a great discussion with Peaks Precast. We have been working with them for the past few years to design a foundation system that is pre-cast off-site delivered for modular foundations. This innovative system helps to expedite the foundation construction on site and allow a different approach to creating foundations.
