EVstudio and Evergreen Parks & Recreation District: A Lasting Partnership
Since 2017, EVstudio has proudly partnered with Evergreen Parks & Recreation District. This collaboration reflects a shared commitment to community, access, and thoughtful design. Over time, we completed nine impactful projects across the Evergreen community. Each project responds directly to resident needs and long-term district goals.
Moreover, our team integrates community feedback into every design decision. As a result, each space feels authentic, functional, and welcoming. This partnership continues to shape Evergreen’s recreational and civic environments.

Comprehensive Planning and Infrastructure Improvements
First, EVstudio supported campus-style planning for multiple EPRD facilities. This approach created cohesive circulation, clear access points, and flexible growth options. Next, we completed structural renovations that extended building lifespans. These updates improved safety while minimizing long-term maintenance costs.
Additionally, our engineers delivered critical MEP system upgrades. These improvements enhanced energy performance and occupant comfort. We also designed ADA parking upgrades and access modifications. Therefore, facilities now serve residents of all abilities.
Our team followed best practices outlined by the ADA National Network. Consequently, every improvement aligned with accessibility standards and local expectations.
EPRD Stagecoach Field: Recreation Designed for Everyone
EPRD Stagecoach Field stands as a vibrant community recreation space. EVstudio completed this project in close collaboration with EPRD leadership.
From the start, the design prioritized sustainability and accessibility. Equally important, the field needed to feel inviting for all ages.
We carefully balanced durability, safety, and visual appeal. Furthermore, the design supported a wide range of outdoor activities. Clear circulation paths encourage safe movement across the site. Thoughtful grading improves drainage and long-term usability.
Importantly, the project met strict budget goals without sacrificing quality. As a result, Stagecoach Field now serves as a community gathering hub.
It also demonstrates how design can elevate public recreational spaces.
Evergreen Terraces Office Building: Innovation on a Steep Site
Evergreen Terraces presented unique design and construction challenges. The 7,700 square foot building sits above a 13-space parking garage.
Additionally, the steep site required precise coordination and planning.
Initially, the original design specified a concrete floor deck. However, EVstudio reevaluated the structural system after joining the project. We redesigned the building using commercial-grade wood joists. This change reduced costs without compromising structural performance.
Because of this redesign, the project became economically feasible. Later, the client pursued LEED certification after framing began. Fortunately, our design instincts supported that goal.

Today, Evergreen Terraces holds several local distinctions. It is Evergreen’s first LEED-certified building. It also features the town’s first under-building parking. Moreover, it offers the first Class A interiors downtown.
Timber Trail Road: Mountain Modern Custom Design
Timber Trail Road showcases EVstudio’s custom residential expertise. The Mountain Modern spec home sits within Evergreen’s challenging terrain. Winding roads and steep topography shaped every design decision.
Therefore, the home required a narrow footprint for buildability. Our in-house team addressed these constraints collaboratively. Architecture, structural engineering, and civil engineering worked together seamlessly.
As a result, the design balanced efficiency, views, and constructability. The home fits naturally within its surroundings. It also delivers comfort and modern mountain aesthetics.
