Introducing Abbey Lyon
EVstudio is excited to welcome Abbey Lyon as the Studio Lead – Interior Design in our Boise office. Abbey brings dual degrees in Architecture and Interior Design, along with 20 years of experience across the design industry. Her credentials include both NCIDQ and LEED certification, and she is currently working toward completing her AREs. Abbey most recently ran her own architectural design business for three years and is now looking forward to collaborating with a team again.
A Passion for Design from the Start
Abbey’s love for design began early. As a child, she was often busy making dollhouse furniture or rearranging her bedroom. That passion has carried through her career, where she has worked across a wide variety of design roles. Today, she continues to stay inspired through both professional and personal projects, including creative work around her home.
Life Beyond the Office
Originally from Boulder, Abbey spent 15 years in Denver before recently relocating to Boise. When she’s not working with clients or leading her team, Abbey enjoys all things bookish and crafty. She also loves cheering on her kids in their activities, having grown up playing just about every sport herself. Abbey is a candy enthusiast, with seasonal favorites for every holiday, and she and her family enjoy traveling—highlighted by a recent trip to Costa Rica where beach days were a highlight.
Looking Ahead
With her extensive background, leadership skills, and lifelong passion for design, Abbey will play a key role in growing EVstudio’s Interior Design practice in Boise. We are thrilled to have her on board and look forward to the expertise and creativity she brings to the team.
