Ross Maxwell has extensive professional experience in structural engineering, with expertise spanning residential, commercial, and production home projects. Over his 20-year career, he has worked with a variety of structural systems. He has expertise in wood framing, steel, concrete, and CMU block. His leadership at EVstudio has helped shape the Structural Department into a trusted resource for clients and architects alike.
Ross began his career with hands-on experience in the field, inspecting construction materials and structural components while earning his degree. He quickly advanced from design engineering into project management, where his keen understanding of structural performance and client needs set him apart. As a leader of EVstudio’s Structural Department, Ross plays a pivotal role in guiding projects from concept to completion, ensuring efficient, code-compliant, and cost-effective solutions.
His portfolio includes residential multi-family and single-family homes, commercial buildings, and a range of structural design solutions tailored to client needs. However, what Ross enjoys most about his work is developing strong relationships with production home clients, helping them bring their visions to life with innovative and reliable structural solutions.
Outside of work, Ross is an avid volleyball player and enjoys the teamwork and strategy the sport demands—skills that also translate into his professional leadership.
