We have designed several homes that feature ICF construction for foundations. This home is currently being built high above Idaho Springs, Colorado. In this case, ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) is only being used for the walk-out basement. They offer great thermal performance and streamline construction with the forms serving double duty of insulation and a form for pouring the concrete.
