EVstudio at World Of Modular 2025: From Presentations to Recognition

This year’s World Of Modular conference brought the modular design community together in Las Vegas, and EVstudio was proud to be right at the heart of it.

Our team joined thousands of industry leaders, innovators, and design professionals to share ideas, showcase projects, and celebrate the impact of modular construction. It was a high-energy week full of great conversations—and a few big moments for our team.

Dean Dalvit Takes the Stage – Twice!

A major highlight of the conference was seeing our very own Dean Dalvit take the stage not once, but twice as a featured presenter. Dean brought deep insight and engaging conversation to both sessions, putting EVstudio’s thought leadership in the spotlight.

His first session, “Preventing Project Pitfalls: A Crash Course in Design for Offsite Construction”, co-presented with Nickolos Gomez of AO Architects, gave attendees a tactical look at how to navigate the complexities of modular project planning—from design misalignments to logistical hurdles.

The following day, Dean joined Eric Schaefer of Fading West to present “Tackling Missing Middle Housing Using Offsite Construction” on April 10. This session explored how modular strategies can help bridge the housing affordability gap and bring real-world solutions to one of the industry’s most pressing issues.

Both presentations drew strong attendance from professionals across architecture, development, and construction—making it clear that EVstudio is playing a key role in shaping the future of modular.

Also in attendance was Rob Wilberger, representing EVstudio on the floor, engaging with peers, clients, and collaborators throughout the conference.

Coconut Club Brings Home the Win

This year, EVstudio was honored with two nominations at the WORLD OF Modular Awards for our work on the Coconut Club project in Exuma, Bahamas:

  • Green Building: Special Application
  • Permanent Modular: Special Application

We’re proud to share that Coconut Club took home the award for Permanent Modular: Special Application!

Designed in collaboration with ROXBOX Containers, P&P Co., and the Coconut Club team, this off-grid, solar-powered beach club showcases the power of modular innovation in remote environments. With a 100% solar-powered system, hurricane-rated structures, and a seamless guest experience built entirely off-grid, Coconut Club pushes the limits of what modular can achieve—and we’re honored it earned top recognition on the global stage.
