A Fresh Photo for a Growing Team
Today felt like one of those rare Colorado wins. Yesterday brought a surprise snowstorm across the state. Honestly, it looked more like January than spring. Thankfully, the skies calmed down overnight and the snow melted away leaving the sidewalks clear. This morning greeted us with warmer air and soft clouds instead.
We gathered at Inspiration Pointe Park for EVstudio’s company photo day. The overcast weather actually worked perfectly for photos, lighting looked great. Even better, the fresh snow on the mountains created an incredible backdrop for us.
A Full Team Effort
It was great seeing everyone, but extra special because our newest Colorado Springs office, LGA Studio, made the drive to join us. Their energy added even more excitement to the event. (Our Idaho office will take their updated photos soon). Our company has grown tremendously over the last year. Because of that growth, taking a new company photo felt important and meaningful to represent the new talent and people helping EVstudio evolve.
More importantly, the culture continues growing alongside the staff. That has been one of the most rewarding things to experience firsthand. Every department brings different personalities, experiences, and ideas. As a result, the workplace feels more collaborative and connected every year.
Headshots, Laughs, and Great Conversations
Besides the company photo, we also spent time taking individual headshots. With help from Alexis, our Administrative Assistant, the process stayed organized and surprisingly fun. Not the usual feeling surrounding photo day for most people.
Of course, nobody walks into headshots completely relaxed. However, the awkward moments quickly turned into laughter. People cracked jokes, changed outfits several times, and shared funny posing advice throughout the afternoon. Even our head of HR’s doggo (Sam) posed pretty with Chenille for the camera.
Those moments actually became my favorite part of the day. Between photos, I got to know coworkers better and see more of everyone’s personalities. Some people brought serious professional energy. Others fully embraced the chaos of picture day. Either way, the laughs made everything memorable.
Growth With Purpose
As EVstudio continues expanding, it feels exciting watching the culture evolve naturally. Growth can sometimes feel overwhelming. However, our team continues staying grounded in the company’s EValues.
That deserves recognition, especially from people leading recruitment and expansion efforts.
