We are able to evaluate problems in any building type and provide you with anything from a verbal ‘OK’ to a letter with illustrations to a full set of drawings for the repair. Typically we are onsite to start within one or two business days.
We’ve been hired by owners, realtors, buyers, sellers, architects and contractors. If you need us to act as an expert witness on a structural defect, we have the experience.
Structural evaluations and repairs are typically done hourly at a rate of $110/hr. Drive time is part of this (from our Denver office), but there is no additional charge for mileage.For a simple residential issue it is typically a 2 to 4 hour project. If the project is larger of more complex we are happy to give you a fixed fee.
Our Director of Structural Engineering is Jim Houlette, PE. Jim is licensed in Colorado and has over 10 years of structural engineering experience and will be your point person on your project. Some of his recent work includes designs for national home builders, multi-family over podium slab, hotels and forensic work throughout the Front Range.
