The White Barn at Happy Valley stands as a beautiful testament to enduring charm. Built in 1920, this barn has stood the test of time and now offers a timeless, rustic-elegance venue for weddings and celebrations.
Our team helped transform this 6,500 square foot rustic barn into a fully code-compliant event venue specializing in weddings. We brought on a structural engineer to provide a structural analysis to verify the space could hold up to 225 occupants and that the roof structure could support a new fire suppression system. The architectural team advised and provided design solutions to ensure the venue met all applicable egress, life safety, and accessibility requirements.
The goal was to preserve its original craftsmanship — antique beams, wood siding, and hay loft doors — while updating the structure to meet modern safety, comfort, and code requirements.
