Boettcher Center Auditorium Remodel at the University of Denver – Denver, Colorado
The Boettcher Center Auditorium Renovation at the University of Denver is a total renovation of a 1960 classroom building. We took one large auditorium and subdivided it into three classrooms, added accessible restrooms, renovated the lab spaces and upgraded the mechanical, power and fire protection systems.
We preserved many of the elements of the existing building like the detailed wood walls while renovating the auditorium into 3 smaller lecture style classrooms.
The teaching areas include a painted white board and a fixed projection screen positioned to not interfere with the white board.
The building also includes two lab areas. This one belongs to the Engineering Department at the University of Denver.
