EVstudio collaborated with TLC Learning Center in Longmont, Colorado, to design a 33,800-square-foot facility dedicated to early childhood education. Serving infants, toddlers, and preschoolers, the center combines classrooms with therapy and movement spaces to foster motor skill development, social-emotional growth, and sensory learning. The project reflects TLC’s mission to provide a comprehensive, inclusive approach to kindergarten readiness.

The design balances functionality and aesthetics while addressing licensing standards and the unique requirements of two early learning programs. Shared pocket restrooms, efficient plumbing layouts, and operable windows optimize space and comfort, while exposed structural elements create an open, engaging atmosphere. The cohesive color palette complements the surrounding landscape and supports TLC’s branding, promoting a calming yet energetic environment for students and staff. Nature-inspired outdoor spaces, designed by Norris Design, encourage exploration and play, while a fire-access track doubles as a bike path, enhancing site functionality.

Overcoming site challenges such as parking constraints, terrain, and setbacks, the design seamlessly integrates classrooms, playgrounds, and administrative areas. EVstudio’s design addressed evolving needs while maintaining program goals, aided by Golden Triangle Construction’s collaborative CM/GC approach, ensuring progress despite late-stage changes.

EVstudio designed an advanced 180,000-square-foot industrial facility in Jefferson County, Colorado, showcasing our expertise in tilt-up construction and industrial architecture. Spanning over 12 acres, this state-of-the-art development features two core-and-shell buildings optimized for operational efficiency, flexibility, and scalability. The design emphasizes functionality while integrating innovative solutions tailored to the demands of industrial and commercial use.

Our multi-disciplinary team collaborated closely with the ownership group to deliver comprehensive industrial design services, including concept renderings, strategic space planning, entitlements, and detailed construction documents. We addressed critical factors such as utility infrastructure, traffic flow optimization, and structural durability to ensure the facility meets industry-leading standards. EVstudio is leading the revitalization of the Routt County Fairgrounds, combining innovative fairground architecture with cost-effective design solutions. This active project involves evaluating and upgrading the existing restroom facilities, providing site and structural engineering to replace an outdated Lean-To structure, and designing a modern maintenance equipment shop. By optimizing existing infrastructure, our team is helping the County maximize its budget while enhancing the functionality and appeal of the fairground facilities.
