One of our recently designed projects was recently permitted with no review comments and is now under construction. The project is a remodel of an existing retail center at a very busy intersection. The owner and tenants where very concerned about the impact the remodel would have on business. In response to that concern we encouraged the owner to work closely with the tenants and keep them informed of the design process and construction schedule.
Open During Construction
Thanks to excellent communication and the resulting buy-in from tenants, the project is under construction and everyone is still open for business. Since there was enough time between the start of design and the start of construction the tenants where able to inform their clients that the building would be remodeled yet would remain in business.
