Westgate School Carnival

EVstudio Joins the Westgate School Carnival as Sponsor and Design Partner

Westgate Carnival EV booth

EVstudio proudly participated in the Westgate Community School‘s annual end-of-year Carnival as a featured sponsor. As part of our support, we were

provided a complimentary booth at this exciting event, giving us a chance to engage directly with students, families, and school staff. It also allowed us to showcase our ongoing project—the design of Westgate’s new Audinasium—an innovative multi-use facility blending auditorium and gymnasium elements. Staff members Brian Welch, P.E. (principal, education market leader) and Jeff Scott (Project Architect) attended this great event.

Celebrating Community, Creativity, and Collaboration

The Carnival was more than just a fun afternoon. It was a valuable opportunity to connect with our client and the community in a meaningful way. Our booth was intentionally interactive and educational, creating a bridge between architecture, creativity, and engagement. We were thrilled to see how enthusiastic the attendees were about our presence and the new building project.

At the booth, families explored details about the Audinasium, including visual concepts and key design features.

Interactive Fun with a Purpose

To make the booth both informative and fun, we curated a range of interactive elements:

  • Dream Coloring Stations: Kids could color and also draw their “dream” design for the Audinasium.

    Westgate GoodieBags

  • Puppet Stage: Our mini puppet theater featured skits that explained what architects do.

  • Experience the Concept: Visitors could follow a “mini journey” of the Audinasium from idea to completion through a mapped floor path.

  • EV Goodie Bags: Each visitor left with a branded bag filled with coloring supplies, stickers, and more.

This mix of hands-on learning and play made our booth a favorite among attendees and helped foster a sense of excitement for the future space we’re designing.

Strengthening Relationships and Growing Together

Participating in the Westgate Carnival wasn’t just a marketing win—it was a step forward in building lasting relationships. Our team had valuable face time with the school administration, educators, parents, and even future architects in the crowd.

We also connected with industry partners, some of whom we’ve collaborated with before and others we met for the first time. Their positive feedback about our booth and design work affirmed our commitment to excellence and innovation.

The school leadership expressed how much they appreciated our presence and the interactive, thoughtful way we showcased the project. Their enthusiasm for the Audinasium and the partnership with EVstudio reinforces our shared vision.

Looking Ahead

Designing the Audinasium is a unique opportunity to create a space that supports learning, creativity, and community events. Our work with Westgate Community School reflects our deep commitment to educational architecture and client collaboration.

We look forward to sharing more updates as the Audinasium project progresses.

At EVstudio, we believe in designing with purpose and connecting with communities through more than just buildings. The Westgate School Carnival was the perfect reminder of why we do what we do!
