Phase 1 Completion of the Urgent Care Facility

With a fast-growing customer base, Freedom Urgent Care in Harker Heights, Texas, had a need for an expanded patient waiting area, additional exam rooms and the creation of a new clinic area for outside doctors to be able to lease.  In collaboration with the builder, Stefek and Sears, we designed a 2-phase construction process to allow completion of this project without interrupting daily operations and the care provided in the clinic.

Phase 1:  The addition of a 2,387 sq.ft. waiting area, reception/check out area, 3 offices and a records room. This phase also included remodeling the existing waiting/check out area into 4 exam rooms and an additional nurse’s station.

By the end of the first quarter of 2013, Phase 2 should be complete, consisting of remodeling the 1,100 sq.ft of existing physical therapy area into a leasable area for outside doctors.  This area will house a separate waiting area, reception, 4 exam rooms, procedure rooms and a triage room.
