The TLC Early Learning Center at 1444 E. 3rd Ave., Longmont, CO marks an exciting milestone. This meaningful community project is nearing completion and moving into final finishes. EVstudio proudly partnered with TLC Learning Center and Golden Triangle Construction (GTC) on this transformative design.
This new facility reflects a shared vision. It supports early childhood education, inclusive therapy, and community engagement. Moreover, it will serve families in Longmont for generations to come.
A Purpose-Driven Design by EVstudio
EVstudio helped shape a thoughtful and inclusive environment. The design prioritizes accessibility, flexibility, and warmth. As a result, children of all abilities can learn side by side.
The building features welcoming classrooms and expressive architectural elements. In addition, the layout supports cognitive and social development. Every design decision reinforces TLC’s mission of inclusivity.
A Collaborative Construction Approach
The project team used a CM/GC delivery model with Golden Triangle Constrcution. This collaborative method ensured steady progress throughout construction. It also allowed the team to adapt to evolving design needs.
Recently, crews completed the building’s vertical structure. Now, interior finishes continue to move forward. Consequently, the project remains on track for its anticipated opening.
Supporting Families Through Inclusive Education
TLC Learning Center serves as a nonprofit leader in inclusive care. The organization provides early education and pediatric therapy in one location. Children from six weeks old to kindergarten age benefit from these services.
Importantly, TLC integrates neurotypical and neurodivergent children in one classroom. This approach supports stronger social-emotional development. Furthermore, it promotes empathy and collaboration from an early age.
TLC also partners with Universal Pre-K and the Colorado Childcare Assistance Program (CCAP). These partnerships help provide free or reduced-cost care. As a result, more families can access high-quality early education.
