Welcome to EVstudio: Meet Nawal Obaid

EVstudio is excited to welcome Nawal Obaid to the team as a Structural Designer in our Structural Department!

Nawal joins EVstudio with a strong technical background and a passion for continuing to grow within the engineering industry. She graduated in 2022 with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering and is currently pursuing a second degree in Civil Engineering at CU Denver. Along with her educational background, Nawal brings approximately five years of AutoCAD experience and previously worked as a Geotechnical Staff Engineer for two years.

Her diverse experience and eagerness to learn make her a great addition to the Structural team. Nawal is especially excited to continue expanding her knowledge and experience here at EVstudio while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across the company.

Outside of work and school, Nawal enjoys cooking and spending time trying new recipes. She also shared that if she had to eat one meal every day for the rest of her life, it would definitely be cheese pizza. Growing up, she originally wanted to become a teacher before eventually finding her path in engineering.
