EVstudio Supports The Longest Day for Alzheimer’s

EVstudio Joins The Longest Day to Support Alzheimer’s Awareness

On Friday, Aug. 21, EVstudio joined a local effort supporting a cause that affects millions of families. Our team attended a charity golf event at Arrowhead Golf Course, hosted by clients Nathan and Alexandra Sandberg of Urban Green Development.

The event supported The Longest Day, an annual fundraising campaign held by the Alzheimer’s Association on the summer solstice to raise money and awareness for Alzheimer’s care, support, and research. Although the campaign centers on the longest day of the year, participants can bring the mission to life through activities they enjoy, including golf, walks, cycling, and other community events.

EVstudio and Alzheimer’s: Supporting a Meaningful Cause

EVstudio attended the golfing charity event alongside community members and other supporters. Representing our team were Alex Knuth, ICC, Principal and Director of Field Services; Mark Stines, P.E., Structural Engineer; Nate Stiverson, Structural Drafter; and Brandon Behal, Structural Project Designer.

The event offered a chance to connect outside the office while supporting an important mission. Just as importantly, it helped bring greater visibility to Alzheimer’s and the families, caregivers, and communities affected by the disease.

Why The Longest Day Matters

The Alzheimer’s Association leads efforts in Alzheimer’s care, support, research, risk reduction, and early detection. Its work addresses a growing need across the country.

According to the Alzheimer’s Association’s 2026 Facts and Figures report, more than 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s. In 2025, 12.7 million family and other unpaid caregivers provided an estimated 19.6 billion hours of unpaid care.

These numbers show why fundraising and awareness remain important. Events like The Longest Day turn everyday activities into opportunities to support research and resources for people living with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers.

Building Community Through Participation

For EVstudio, participating in this event was about more than spending a day on the golf course. It was an opportunity to support our clients, engage with our community, and contribute to a cause with a broad and lasting impact.

We are grateful to Nathan and Alexandra Sandberg of Urban Green Development for hosting the event and bringing people together around this mission. Their efforts demonstrate how community partnerships can create opportunities to make a difference.

Continuing the Conversation

The Longest Day reminds us that everyone can contribute in a meaningful way. Whether through a fundraising event, volunteering, education, or simply sharing reliable information, small actions can help advance awareness and support.

EVstudio is proud to have participated and to support the work of the Alzheimer’s Association. We encourage our readers to learn more about Alzheimer’s, explore available resources, and consider how they can support the cause.
