Our American Water Building in Texas is moving along quite nicely. The framing is up and so is some of the structural steel. Soon they will be placing the roof trusses.
EVstudio is providing construction administration services on this project. Through reviewing shop drawings, product submittals and doing regular construction observation, we are able to help the contractor and owner maintain quality. It may seem like a minor issue but reviewing the steel stud submittal is important to the success of a project. Depending on the project a heavier gauge of stud could be required. By reviewing product submittals and shop drawings we are able to confirm that design standards and especially requirements are being met.
Lastly, at least one staff member attends weekly project meetings in order to review progress and answer questions.
